SARAWAK’S Pending assemblywoman has questioned what the Deputy Health Minister II, who hails from the state, has done to help tackle the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
The outspoken lawmaker Violet Yong said she has not heard or read anything from Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, who is also the Kanowit MP .
“In case u don’t know. Our Sarawak MP from Kanowit Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang is our Deputy Health Minister II.
“I don’t see him making any statement after he took office about Covid-19. Have I missed it?” she wrote on her Facebook on Monday.
Her post has been shared almost 300 times in less than 48 hours.

While many people commented that they have never seen the deputy minister before and don’t even know he is from Sarawak, some suggested that he should at least do something for Sarawak or his own constituency.
Michael Toh wrote “He should be assisting the state government or Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, don’t just keep quiet. Are you a Sarawakian?”
Another Facebook user Dennis Lau questioned if Kanowit has enough mask?
Some jokingly claimed that the MP must be staying at home due to the Movement Control Order.
However, a voter named Jun Xiong commented that the MP should be given at least three months to fully understand the ministry?
