GABUNGAN Parti Sarawak (GPS) MPs are not involved in any plan to topple the Perikatan Nasional (PN) federal government.
As such, MP and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar was dismissive of a poster showing a purported Cabinet line-up under Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s administration.
He said the release as well as other releases on social media from the opposition camp must be taken with a handful of salt.
“I don’t think it should be taken seriously. It may be the work of cyber troopers to agitate the people. The originator’s unknown objective is best known to those who did it,” he the New Sarawak Tribune.
The supposed line-up showed that Wan Junaidi as among the three deputy prime ministers in Anwar’s federal Cabinet.
The other two were United Malay National Organisation (Umno) president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal.
Other GPS MPs in the purported Cabinet line-up were Batang Sadong MP Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri and Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
Wan Junaidi said current GPS federal ministers are simply too busy to entertain the possibility of another power tussle.
“As far as I know, no (we are not involved). The ministers from GPS are busy doing their work. The same for the other MPs, they too are not involved,” he said.
