TWO PKR members of parliament have left their party and declared support for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s Perikatan Nasional (PN) government.

In a statement on his Facebook page today, Muhyiddin said the two MPs are Julau MP Larry Sng Wei Shien and Tebrau MP Steven Choong Shiau Yoon.

“Today I received statutory declarations (SDs) from two opposition MPs who have expressed support for the PN government.

“The SDs were signed by Larry Sng and Steven Choong and they were handed to me after a retreat session with cabinet members in conjunction with PN’s first anniversary in Putrajaya.

“This support will definitely strengthen the PN government especially when it is making efforts and plans to manage the Covid-19 pandemic as well as reviving the country’s economy,” he said.

Larry was also the Sarawak PKR chief.
