TWO babies, aged 4 months and 1 year, are among the latest Covid-19 cases detected in Sarawak, where the cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,196 as of Friday.

The second baby, who is a year old and the 1,181st case in the state, was confirmed positive on Thursday and is a close contact of a previously-reported Covid-19 case.

Of the 16 new cases recorded in Sarawak yesterday, 10 are in Kuching district, four in Miri district and one each in Samarahan and Julau districts. – BERNAMA
