Sarawak seeks passengers from Kuching-Bintulu bus for Covid-19 screening

THE Sarawak government is seeking passengers who travelled on a bus from Kuching to Bintulu on March 14 to undergo Covid-19 screening.

In an announcement on the official Sarawak Disaster Information Facebook page yesterday, the state authorities identified the bus as Bas Express Bintang Jaya, with the licence plate SAB 6829B.

According to reports in Malaysiakini, the bus departed Kuching at 8.30am.

“You need to make an appointment for Covid-19 screening and await further instructions by contacting the Bintulu operations room at 086-315235,” the posting read.

As of April 28, Sarawak has recorded 276 active Covid-19 cases.
