GABUNGAN Parti Sarawak (GPS) MPs who have been appointed into the new cabinet should take this opportunity to serve the people of Sarawak better.

Sarawak PAS Commissioner Jofri Jaraiee said the welfare of the people should be given priority, including rural infrastructure that is still lagging behind.

He said the Sarawakians MPs including PAS representatives in the cabinet can voice people’s concerns and resolve the issues that are still outstanding.

“We hope all the ministers and deputies will carry out a transparent, trustworthy and can provide the best service for all people regardless of race and religion,” he said in a statement.

Jofri, who is also Miri PAS Chief said it is hoped that Sarawak MPs, especially those from GPS will provide the best service to Malaysians and the people will be able to evaluate PAS’s ability to govern the country.

On Monday, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin’s maiden cabinet line-up has included 11 MPs from Sarawak, nine of which are from GPS and two ex-PKR, who are independent now.
