PSB: Tiong should apologise or be sacked

PARTI Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) has demanded Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing apologise for his remarks against health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The PSB secretariat said Tan Muhyiddin Yassin should sack the the prime minister’s special envoy to China if he refused to apologise.

The party said it was ridiculous of Tiong to ask Dr Noor Hisham to go to the frontlines and visit hospitals.

“We condemn the despicable and deplorable attack by the MP against a civil servant,” it said.

PSB said Tiong, a GPS leader from Sarawak should issue a public apology to Dr Noor Hisham.

“Otherwise, we call on the Prime Minister to sack Tiong as the special envoy of the prime minister to China.”

Tiong, also the PDP president had accused Dr Noor Hisham of seeking publicity with his daily health briefings during the debate on the 2021 budget proposals in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday.
