PARTI Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) will hold a meeting with Dayak intellectuals in Bintulu at the end of March.

Its president Bobby William said the meeting will discuss the direction of PBDSB as a political platform for the Dayak community.

“The meeting will be held in accordance with the SOP and will discuss our strategy for the general election and state election which will take place after Covid-19 emergency period.

“The Dayak agenda is our priority even though PBDS is just a small party but it’s time for the Dayak community and thinkers to unite in bringing PBDS to its heyday.

“We also call on the new Dayak generation (Gen Y) to learn from the mistakes and weaknesses of PBDS in the past as an impetus in the pursuit of success,” said Bobby as reported by New Sarawak Tribune.

He added that PBDS was a political party fighting for the struggle of the Dayak community in demanding equality of economic distribution and joint involvement in developing nation.

“The meeting is to restore the confidence of the community and we can draw up a plan to sustain the party’s struggle,” Bobby explained.

He also hoped that the vaccination programme will speed up the recovery of the Covid-19 situation so that the general election and state election could be held promptly.
