A MAN who had traveled to Kuching two weeks ago was among the latest patients tested positive for COVID-19.
The 58-year-old man entered the state’s capital to attend a meeting on Feb 16.
He man was among the seven confirmed cases in Selangor announced by the Health Ministry on Tuesday.
“He was detected during contact detection, and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on March 2,” according to a statement from the ministry.
The man, who became the country’s patient 33 (for Covid-19) has been admitted at the Sungai Buloh Hospital and currently in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, all the latest confirmed cases in Selangor were close contacts of patient 26.
