A MAN who tested positive for Covid-19 had travelled by bus from Johor Bahru to Kuantan on March 16, putting scores at risk as health authorities scramble to track down those who had come into contact with him.
FMT reported that the the passenger had undergone a Covid-19 screening in Johor Bahru, but did not quarantine himself nor wait for the test results.
According to the Kuantan Health Department, the bus was a Plusliner express bus with the licence plate VDJ 2367, and the trip was a day before the government’s movement control order took effect.
The bus left Johor Bahru’s Larkin Sentral station at 7.45pm and headed for the Kuantan Terminal Sentral.
When contacted, the Kuantan Health Department urged all passengers who had boarded the bus to report to health authorities and nearby government clinics.
