AN employee from the Yung Kong RHB Bank branch has been tested positive for Covid-19.
The affected employee went for a test on April 13 and the results came out positive two days later.
The bank in a statement said the employee had been in home quarantine from March 12 till March 21.
“The branch has been temporarily closed from March 23 and will remain closed till the end of the movement control order (MCO),” read the statement as reported in Dayak Daily.
Cleansing and sanitisation work had since been carried out at the bank in accordance with health ministry guidelines.
Staff who had come into close contact with the affected person had also been placed under home quarantine.
The bank stressed that it had taken all relevant health and safety measures as stipulated by the MoH.
