THE Kuching church cluster recorded nine new Covid-19 cases yesterday, the highest in the country with a total of 132 positive cases so far.
The second highest number of new cases yesterday came from the Pasir Gudang factory cluster which recorded five, followed by the Makassar tabligh cluster (two), according to the latest statistics released by the Health Ministry’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC).
The Seri Petaling tabligh cluster is not listed although the CPRC has separately released statistics that a total of 1,946 have tested positive from the cluster as of yesterday.
The Kuching church cluster has 112 active cases, two of whom are in intensive care units. Three from the cluster have died, while 17 have recovered.
The Kuching church cluster has the second highest total number of positive cases at 132. The highest is the BBIM cluster in Kluang, Johor with 183 cases
