THE King is due to meet political party heads starting this Wednesday.

This could potentially chart a new political landscape amidst the ongoing Emergency Proclamation that is due to expire in August, reports The Star.

It said that according to sources in the political circle, the first audience that the King has granted is to Bersatu on Wednesday.

This will be followed with DAP and PKR on Thursday and subsequently Pejuang and Umno on Friday.

“The King just wants to listen, to allow them to air their views,” said the source briefly.

The audiences are expected to be on hearing their views on the current situation in the country and not on any change of government.
