THOSE fully vaccinated against Covid-19 may be allowed to visit their family members in other states, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He has already proposed this to the National Security Council and it being deliberated on.
Ismail said he understood the importance of the family institution and did not want mothers or fathers to be separated from their children for too long, even if it was for safety reasons.
“Therefore, I have often raised this issue at the National Security Council meetings so that a relaxation can be considered if they have been fully vaccinated,” he said in a statement.
While the details of the proposal are being studied, past experience shows that inter-state travel led to an increase in cases.
