DOCTORS and nurses on duty are appealing to the public to adhere strictly to the movement control order which began today to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Despite the order, many have been caught violating it by going about their daily business as normal.
The authorities have since began patrols and are cracking down on stubborn employers and businesses which have refused to close.
A picture which shows a doctor and a team of nurses on duty at one of the hospital in the country has since gone viral.
The picture shows a man, believed to be a doctor holding a notice which simply reads, “I stay at work for you. You stay at home for us”.
Another picture meanwhile shows a group of nurses, also with the same message.
Medical personnel and other front-liners have been working round the clock to care for the increasing number of Covid-19 patients and there have been fears the numbers may continue rising unless everyone plays their role.
