HARI Raya visits will be allowed nationwide except in areas under enhanced MCO, the government announced today.

Senior minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in MCO areas, visits will be allowed only on the first day of Hari Raya and it was limited to 15 people.

For areas under CMCO and RMCO, visits are allowed from the first day until the third day of Hari Raya.

In CMCO areas, a maximum of 20 people are allowed and in RMCO areas, 25 people.

Home owners are encouraged to scan body temperatures, use the MySejahtera QR code or record the name and phone numbers of guests.

Graveyard visits are allowed for RMCO and CMCO areas and cannot exceed six at a grave plot and a maximum of 30 minutes.

All other types of Hari Raya activities and open houses are not allowed for all areas.

Hari Raya prayers are not allowed in EMCO areas while celebrations after prayers at mosques and surau are only allowed in CMCO and RMCO areas.

“Mosque and surau committees are encouraged to prepare food in packages and distribute to the congregation to take home,” he said.
