Govt releases FAQs on movement control order (Download link)

THE National Security Council has released a list of frequently asked questions on the movement control order announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to contain Covid-19.

Here are the key highlights:

Q: I have ran out of supplies. Can I go out and buy them?

A: Yes

Q: I work in Singapore. Can I continue to commute from Malaysia?

A:  No

Q: I have made holiday plans to travel within Malaysia and have paid. Can I proceed with my vacation?

A: The public is prohibited from going to any holiday destinations for recreational or social purposes, unless it involves national interests. Travellers are advised not to proceed with the holiday plans

Q: Will there be replacement classes in schools?

A: No

Q: Will eateries stay open?

A: Eateries are allowed to operate but only for takeaway or through food delivery services like Grabfood or Food Panda
