SARAWAKIANS have been asked not to listen to rumours and hearsay on Covid-19 vaccines and should instead listen to doctors and register for their inoculations.
DAP Serian chief Brolin Nicholsion said it was learned that many were afraid to get vaccinated due to such influences.
“Some even believe that Langkau (Dayak White liquor) is an alternative from getting vaccinated.”
He said as Sarawak recorded hundreds of daily cases, the DAP wanted to encourage the people to register themselves for vaccinations and also get their spouses to get vaccinated.
“We would like to tell the public that all vaccines are safe and approved by the WHO. Do not create fake news that can cause confusion among the people.”
Nicholsion said in a statement that DAP Serian was currently helping the public to register for the vaccine as part of its efforts to help the government in its plan to vaccinate the people against Covid-19.
