MORE than 200,000 Sarawakians have since registered for the Covid-19 vaccination through the MySejahtera application.

Assistant Minister of Housing and Local Government, Dr Annuar Rapaee said the state came in fourth after Johor, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur for the number of those registered for the vaccine.

He also urged those who have yet to register their names to do so as soon as possible.

Annuar, meanwhile, said the Sibu Division Disaster Management Committee would hold a meeting soon to decide what was the best for Flats H and I in Sibu Jaya after both registered a combined total of 100 new Covid-19 cases.

According to reports in Dayak Daily, Flat H recorded 42 cases, while Flat I had 58 cases. Both flats are under lockdown for about a month now.

Of the 149 cases in Sibu district, 33 of them were in the Sibu Municipal Council area, and eight in Sibu Rural District Council.

Of the 149 cases, 133 were from close contacts with positive cases.

He said more tests were being carried out on those who had close contact with positive cases.
