Covid-19: Sarawak’s total number of cases crosses 80,000 mark as Malaysia hits yet another daily record high

MALAYSIA daily cases of Covid-19 continues to move upwards with yet another record high of 20,889 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,224,595.

Selangor recorded the most cases with 8,792, followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,483), Kedah (1,371), Sabah (1,291), Johor (1,275), Negeri Sembilan (986), Kelantan (938), Penang (776), Sarawak (652), Perak (624), Pahang (610), Malacca (491), Terengganu (460), Putrajaya (122), Perlis (9) and Labuan (9).

Sarawak’s total number of cases has now passed the 80,000 mark and stands at 80,174.
