Covid-19: Sarawak continues to record more than 2,000 cases

MALAYSIA recorded 20,897 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,746,254.

Selangor continues to record the highest number of cases with 4,371.

This was followed by Sabah (2,594), Sarawak (2,285), Johor (2,159), Kedah (1,942), Penang (1,732), Kelantan (1,479), Perak (1,204) and Kuala Lumpur (1,003).

Pahang had 798 cases, Terengganu (608), Malacca (417), Negeri Sembilan (215), Perlis (64), Putrajaya (25) and Labuan (1).

The number of cases in Kelantan is the highest ever recorded by the state.
