Covid-19: New cases drop to 715 in Sarawak

SARAWAK’S Covid-19 cases reduced from yesterday’s high to 715 cases today.

The state recorded its highest ever number of cases of 1,216 yesterday.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 21,468 new Covid-19 cases nationwide over the past 24 hours.

The total number of infections now stands at 1,363,683.

Selangor recorded the most cases with 7,449, followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,183), Kedah (1,807), Sabah (1,654), Penang (1,316), Johor (1,485) and Kelantan (1,088).

Negeri Sembilan had 974 cases, Perak (940), Malacca (723), Sarawak (715), Pahang (572), Terengganu (440), Putrajaya (66), Perlis (50) and Labuan (six).
