THE Chief Secretary to the government has apologised for leaving out Pakatan Harapan Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers from a meeting in Putrajaya to discuss the movement control order over Covid-19.

Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali said it was due to oversight on his part and stressed that Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had made it clear that it was imperative to get all states involved, regardless of political backgrounds.

“For Penang, Kedah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Sabah, only the state development directors were present,” he said in a statement yesterday. The four are PH-held states.

He said the PM had made it clear that he wanted all MBs and CMs to be present.

The PH Secretariat Council had yesterday questioned why its MBs and CMs were not invited to the meeting yesterday and said that there is no room for politics when battling Covid-19.
