JUST two days after the formation of the new Cabinet, Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa has expressed hope that parliament be dissolved soon so a government can be formed using the “front door” like what Muafakat Nasional wanted all along.
“After we have rectified all that needs to be done and the Covid-19 spread is under control, I hope parliament can be dissolved which is what Muafakat Nasional wanted.
“We can then leave it to the voters to decide how far they want to work with the DAP,” he said in Twitter.
Annuar who was sworn in as the Federal Territories Minister said this following attacks against Perikatan Nasional which is alleged to have formed a “back door” government.
The move to form the “back door” government allegedly began with the “Sheraton Move” which later saw the downfall of the Pakatan Harapan government.
PN was then formed and consists of some former PKR and Besatu members, Umno, PAS and supported by Sarawak’s GPS.
Annuar also said PH should not continue blaming others and realise their mistakes.
“The problem with PH is they are still in denial and keep blaming others for what happened.
“It is them who were jostling for positions and till today refuse to admit their mistakes,” he added.
