SOME 2,500 Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) members from Ba Kelalan have decided to leave the party as they have lost confidence in with the party’s top leadership and the new state leadership.
According to PKR Ba Kelalan branch secretary James Tai, the members, including those from the women and youth wings, decided to leave the party following a meeting held yesterday.
Tai claimed that the 2, 500 members are from various branches in the Ba Kelalan state constituency.
“We hereby pledge our full support, loyalty and trust to (former state PKR chairman and PKR Ba Kelalan branch chief ) YB Baru Bian and his team and await for our next political move and direction.
“With this, PKR Ba Kelalan branch has ceased to exist,” he added.
