15 new suspected Covid-19 cases in Sarawak

SARAWAK has recorded 15 new suspected cases for the Covid-19 virus today.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee secretariat said 10 cases were reported at the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching, followed by three cases in Lawas and one each in Bintulu and Sibu hospitals.

These brings the total number of suspected cases in Sarawak since Jan 10 to 262.

Of the numbers, 237 had tested negative for the virus while 25 cases were still pending for results.

Meanwhile, the Health Department had so far screened almost 13,000 people who arrived in the state at all its airports, sea and land entry points. This brings it to a total of almost 460,000 people being screened at all the entry points state-wide since Feb 1 this year.
